The church Eglise Notre Dame de Toute Grâce is a masterpiece of modern Art sacré and has been decorated by many grand masters from the middle of the twentieth century.

The church on the plateau d'Assy is a key monument in the revival movement of art sacré in the 20th century, and was founded by canon Devémy for the sanatorium's population housed on Passy's higher plains as from the 1920s.

The monument, designed by Maurice Novarina evokes the robust Savoyard mountain chalets constructed from stone and wood. The architect finished off the building with a bell placed 28 m above the ground which directs one's gaze to it and then over to the Fiz mountains beyond.

On its façade there lies an immense and colourful mosaic designed by Fernand Léger which gives us a clue as to the exceptional interior decoration. Canon Devémy, on the advice of his friend Père dominicain Marie Alain Couturier concerning the reviewed Art Sacré mouvment, revived the tradition of the Church supporting living artists.

All the inside space is taken up with illustrations of biblical themes and Christian saints using many different techniques by such artists as: Bazaine (stained glass windows), Bonnard (painting), Braque (bronze), Chagall (ceramics and stained glass), Lipchitz (bronze), Lurçat (weavings), Matisse (ceramics), Richier (bronze), Rouault (stained glass).

The church on the Plateau d'assy, consecrated in 1950, is a place for prayer and for artistic expression that must be discovered. This monument figures on the official historical monument list since 2004.
